Can tysabri be used for treatment of ALS?

I have heard of Tysabri used for MS patients but I have not heard of it used for ALS patients. Have used contacted the ALS Foundation? The Foundations are usually on top of any of the medications being used for other condition than what they were originally prescribed for or approved for by the FDA. Off book use of meds is not usually covered by insurance though and an expensive drug Tysabri might be a drug, that if prescribed off book, say for ALS if FDA approved for MS, may not be covered. Good Luck. I hope you find your answer.

Thank-you, just clutching at straws. I have a family member that just found out he has ALS.
