I am currently reducing the amount of pain medication that I take for a back condition which has siatic systems. And I am confused, is this genuine pain or withdrawal systems?
Im not sure if this is what you are experiencing but restless leg syndrome can be painful for some people when they are trying to reduce their opiate intake. Some people describe it as ants running up and down their legs. My experience with restless leg syndrome was years before I ever was prescribed pain medication. The pain involved with this syndrome combined with opiate withdrawl is more like the muscle and ligaments being pulled from the bone to the point where it feels like the bone will break. Most people have difficulty when trying to describe the pain. The pain is all encompassing and nothing works to relieve it. I truly hope this is not what you are experiencing. I also have sciatic pain in both legs that can be describe as more of a burning pain.
