I have also recently been prescribed Zoloft and was on 50mg at first and then increased to 100mg. It seems that when I moved up to the higher dosage that taking Ambien wasn't as effective at night. Is this a possibility drug wise? Or could it be that I'm just so used to taking Ambien that the effects are wearing off?
I can say that it is a possibility, however. Like I get told all the time...have you decreased stimulation..tried to read a boring book(i mean crazy boring...or as a last resort skipping the night of sleeping and planting yourself in bed the following nite, and if neccesary repeat. Its all about reprogramming you body that bed=sleep/intamite time and THATS IT! No TV, writing, phone....JUST SLEEP! Most of my sleeping problems come from not wanting to get stuck in a bad dream. Most of my stress comes from not sleeping. Get better...sleep is very good!
