My husband says that when he "goes down on me" I have been tasting bitter. He says that is not normal for me. There is no odor or discharge.
Hey Kim, I guess it could but it also could be a slight bacterial overgrowth known as Bacterial Vaginosis. If any one of 7 bacteria or 1 protozoan become more prevalent than they usually are, it can creates the symptoms you describe. Your OB/GYN can check you and get you back to normal soon. There is a really good article on this condition at vaginosis.com by dr. James Christian. I had group b strep when I had my daughter and experienced a little case of BV when pregnant with her and my husband said the same thing yours did. Anyway, it is simply the bacteria being in the wrong ratio to each other and it can be treated easily, but, read that article and it will explain it better.
