After reviewing the literature about buprenorphine, one of the active ingredients in Suboxone, I did find that if you have an electrolyte imbalance (specifically low potassium levels) you need to let the doctor know. That is all I could find about this topic. Suboxone can affect the heart rate which can be associated with potassium levels. If you are vomiting from the Suboxone that too could affect potassium levels.
