Can strong pain in one foot be associatrd with the symptom of gout?

Yes, it can. They need to do a Uric acid blood test, and to x ray the effected foot. A good Orthopedic Doc can see Gout on an X Ray. If you have Gout you have to give up Red meats, and shell fish. You can only eat Turkey, Chicken, and fish without shells. Alcohol is also bad as if caffeine and nicotine. No oatmeal. There are other things too. If you follow the strict diet and take Allopurinol and Colchicine you should have no pain.
