My question is does anyone know if Oxycontin 20mg helps ease Hydrocodone Norco 10 /325 withdrawals ?? Oxy's kinda effect me the same way as codeine , only stronger , i just wanted to know if anyone had any advice / or experience in this area ...
I do not mean to be offensive in any way here, but this is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire!
This will only increase addiction, if you are addicted that is.
Please look up Suboxone on this site, that may be a good route for you, just a thought.
Sweet Lemon is correct. Oxycontin is not a drug to help get off a weaker drug. It will only increase the addiction. Please google the "Thomas Recipe" for opiate withdrawal. Oxy's are so much stronger then the Norco you are trying to get off of. Please be safe and stay away from the oxy's. Once you are on them for a while, wd'ing from those will be like going thru hell. A slow taper from the Norco's is the safest, most painfree way of quitting opiates. Please be safe! Also, depending on how long you've been on the Norco, you may need medical supervision while going thru detox. The Thomas Recipe will give you a list of OTC and Rx meds you will need to make the taper more painless. Please look it up and visit often for support!
