Metanx is a vitamin supplement given to manage hyperhomocysteinemia and supplement the diet. It contains methylfolate and Vitamins B6 and B12. You should not exceed the recommended dose of Metanx.
Fortunately the B vitamins are water soluble so your body will eliminate excess.
If you suspect overdose contact 1-800-222-1222 (the American Association of Poison Control Centers)or your local poison control center (http://www.aapcc.org).
