holly985, It doesnt necessarily cause a "high" but some people can feel drowsy or woozy when they take this medicine so use care in your first few doses to see how you react before you drive or operate machinery or anything that requires you to be alert. I had a friend who was a smoker and took this medicine for menstrual cramps. Well, she fell asleep with a lit cigarette in her hand and nearly caught her blanket she was using on fire, so beware. Naprosyn is an NSAID drug and it is not a controlled substance.
