MAXITROL (neomycin and polymyxin B sulfates and dexamethasone ophthalmic suspension) is a multiple dose anti-infective steroid combination in sterile suspension form for topical application.
I would seek medical advice, because of the composition of the med. it is very highly recommended, please, all the best.
I personally wouldn't recommend using it on such a young child because they can rub it with their hands and put it in their mouth. It is a good medicine if you can keep their hands out of it. I would suggest consulting with the doctor first before using it on an infant. Hope this helps answer your question
