I had a severe street drug problem,I've been diagnosed with fibromyalgia so my doctor prescribed Lyrica,I also take citrolazipram for depression.I've been in a drug treatment program for about 2 months and my urine results are still coming up positive for T.H.C.I have not been using and can not explain why this is happening. But I'm consumed with this problem with trying to prove what is causing this result,so they don't look at me like i'm a liar, and I can graduate and continue to stay clean! Please any suggestions will help!!!
I'm by profession a medical lab tech, and to my knowledge lyrica should not give a positive result or (false positive) for thc. It is true though that thc can remain in your system for 2 months maybe longer maybe shorter depending on your metabolism. Not to say you've used it, but, to say it's posiible in that time period. What I would say is tests can always be repeated if questioned, you just need to try to have them repeat as soon as possible after a positive test result if you can. So, I hope this helps and for the record I'll take your word for it that you have'nt used thc, and hope you can get past this stuff. don't worry about what they think, if you know you are doing what's right! Tests can have error's too, So, remember to ask for a repeat and maybe keep asking if possible. Any other questions I could help you with be glad to help.
From my understanding when you smoke that herb which I did for many of year's it stays in the belly fat. But also there are some over the counter drugs and some drugs that the Dr gives when we take drugs for depressing, mental problems and lot's of other illness that's why we have to tell them when were getting labs done what meds we take. I know how they make you feel like a drugie. Just stay true to yourself.
