been on norco almost 5 yrs and now detoxing from it. aaaahhhhh! the less i take and the more i adjust to the lower levels of pain meds (down to four 10 mg a day) i am noticing that my neck pain is not as intense as it was when i was taking higher doses. are my pain receptors confused?
Can long term hydrocodone use change the way your body percieves pain?

The natural pain relieving system in your brain may still be working some on its own, usually this is not what happens. Usually the system stays down until you are off, when withdrawal stops, that means the system is back up and running. I am glad for you, you are a rarity. Pattishan
