no, retina is a powerful form of vitamin a. There is a drug called Accutane that is even higher and it is oral, It also can cause severe birth defects and liver damage. Anyone on retina ( female) has to be on 2 forms of birth control and have blood work done monthly. Vitamins A, D and E are fat soluble which means you can get too much of them and it is in your fat cells where it can't be gotten out.
