Rather unfortunate; why do you need to take antibiotics for a road accident?
Augmentin is a penicillin antibiotic. Augmentin contains a combination of amoxicillin and clavulanate potassium. Amoxicillin is an antibiotic in a group of drugs called penicillins. Amoxicillin fights bacteria in the body.
Clavulanate potassium is a form of clavulanic acid. It is used to overcome resistance in bacteria that secrete beta-lactamase, thereby counteracting possible bacterial resistance to the amoxicillin.
Augmentin is used to treat many different infections caused by bacteria, such as sinusitis, pneumonia, ear infections, bronchitis, urinary tract infections, and infections of the skin.

Would not recommend to self medicate, please do consult a doc before you take Augmentin, be well & safe!
Hi Malikswcc, are you suffering from a bacterial infection subsequent to your road traffic accident? If so, are you being prescribed Augmentin by your doctor? If so, then you should be okay to take the Augmentin as prescribed by the doctor, in the doses the doctor has advised (you mentioned 625 mg twice a day). In the case of a serious bacterial infection it can be prescribed at 625 mg x 3 times daily, but it can cause severe nausea at this dosage, which it is why it is not a good idea to take Augmentin except under medical supervision. It can cause some serious side effects, including in rare cases, kidney inflammation and should only take it when absolutely necessary and when advised by a doctor or other medical professional.
Hope you make a good recovery from your road traffic accident.
Best wishes
