i had 2 major back surgeries that didnt take. Lots of pain from that and so much nerve damage. i take remeron at night with an oxycontin 15 mg. In the morning i take 1 oxy, 1 valium 5mg. and 1 Lyrica 75 mg. and i take these 3 times a day. But very hard to function. should i not take the valium with the lyrica. thank you valerie morrison. p.s. I also where a back brace and a bone stimulator on me but its not working. i would like an answer on the lryica and valium. thank you.
I take valium for muscle spasms after by back surgery. If the Lyrica helps with the nerve pain AND spasms, maybe you could stop taking the valium, or take it at bed time only. That one would be the best to try and not take. The others are more important, my opinion only. I'm assuming the valium was prescribed for the spasms? Are you in a hard body brace or the softer single brace velcro one? I still need to wear my body brace at night when my spine gets worn out. But it's probably the valium making it more difficult for you to function during the day. Although the oxy can make you tired too. Please double check with your doc before stopping any medication. It's always best to double check.
I hope you get some relief soon. By the way, when was your last surgery? I still need another surgery in the future and was wondering what went wrong with yours? If it's ok, I will add you as a friend, and it you add me too, we could then send messages if you don't want to post any personal info on the public forum.
I hope you feel better soon,
