Hi fitpak,
First could you provide this info; how long have you been taking Xanax? Has your body adjusted to it? How much do you take daily?
Thank you and hopefully I can help you out, or someone else will get to your query soon.

Hey fitpak,

Tryptophan, one of the 20 amino acids, is commonly found in many foods. There is no reason I can think of as to why you could not take it with xanax. Tryptophan (tryptan) is prescribed by some doctors to help patients with depression. As long as taken in the appropriate quantity, taking it with xanax should not be a problem.

Best wishes,
