I am on a liver transplant list in Ohio, and have real bad chronic pain and the strongest thing my pain managment Dr. has given me is Ultram, and I heard opiods will have you taken off the list,is this true?
I tried to google some info about that but came up blank about the transfer list. I know Embeda is morphine & narcan, which makes it supposededly unabuseable mabey that will allow you to take it and remain on the list. I hope that's the case because I'm on alot of narcotics & I asked the pharmacist about liver or kidney damage in long term use of opiates and was told that it would not. I don't think you should have to be in pain just because your waiting for a liver. Sorry I cant answer your question, but I've dealt with chronic pain & not getting relief.
