I travel to USA to work there for 8 months and i'd like to take my pills for this time (the amount i need for 8 months) and i'd like to know is it prohibited to take this kind of drug or this much of it. The pills are Lindynette [Ethinyl estradiol]. Where can i check a list of prohibited ingredients?
I'm pretty sure you can take your supply of pills with you. Provided the packet has your name and details on it and if you want you could get a letter from your doctor to say that it is for your personal use. Pills are not prohibited substance to cross the border ... I suppose provided it is a reasonable quantity (close to the duration of your stay) you should be fine.
