I am taking 1500 mg of divalproex & 800 mg of carbamazepine for epilepsy.
Very rarely, statins (simvastatin) can cause rhabdomyolysis. Rhabdomyolysis can cause severe muscle pain, liver damage, kidney failure and death. Rhabdomyolysis can occur when you take statins in combination with certain drugs, or if you take a high dose of statins.
The dose of Simvastatin you are taking is not high and your combination of drugs is fine.
