I had surgery and that doctor gave me 10/325 oxycodone. Im not a fan of Tylenol tho. Should i tell my PM DR that those worked well when i took two for my back. Tramadol does nothing for my back at all

Thank you for your input. I will let you guys know after i talk to him. I do have severe low back pain with break thru pain a lot that keeps getting worse by the months. So since it is a disease and chronic pain i think the 15mg would be a good option so hopefully my doc does too. What do you think my chances are?
Oxycodone hydrochloride is an opioid pain reliever. It is an active ingredient in many different prescription medications. It is available by itself (in both short- and long-acting products) or in combination with other active ingredients. Oxycodone is a narcotic and is a "controlled substance", perhaps you are aware of the facts.
Oxycodone has a significant potential for both psychological and physical dependence and abuse. In fact, it is classified as a controlled substance, meaning that there are special rules and regulations for prescribing and obtaining the medication. Because oxycodone can be a desirable drug of abuse, people often try to buy it through illegal means, such as from foreign countries or online sources that do not require a prescription. It is readily available and relatively inexpensive (at least in generic form), making it a popular drug of abuse.
Don't recommend that you buy the med off the streets, perhaps you have no options but to wait for your doctors appointment for him/her to prescribe the med. All the best & take care.
Have you ever been prescribed oxy's before if you have this would be helpful so you can tell your doctor you've tried it and it worked well for you. If not tell them you have a friend that suggested it cause your friend has the same problem and it worked well for them. Also any med that you have taken that you dislike say for instance tramadol just say you are allergic to it that way they have very limited choices on what they can give you.
