actually my father has undergone a renal stone open surgery in 2006 and he is having pain in both kidneys. His B coli level also remains elevated.
Elavil can be used to treat renal disorders such as Interstitial Cystitis or Urinary incontinence. In your father's case I think it is being used for Interstitial Cystitis ( but I would encourage you to talk to his doctor about it as well).
