I was diagnosed on Aug. 14th, but I still have not taken any of my medicines because I am scared of all the side effects and I am scared that because of my COPD that my diabetes medicines will interact with Spiriva, Albuterol and Zyban! Please help me!
Energizer Bunny; I also have type 2 diabetes and yes you can get it under control with diet and exercise. Make sure you cut out soda if you drink it. Even diet although sugar free it can still raise blood sugars. If you are concerened with any diabetic meds interacting with your COPD meds then I would suggest that you try BYETTA it is a pen injection and it does not make you gain weight and mixes well with most medications. Good Luck.
