In the United States of American we have to have the drug in a container that came from a pharmacy, written for the person who has the drug on them. This is the law if not one can be charge with having a prescription drug not in the correct container. Just when it became a law I do not know , you would have to ask a lawyer in the state you live in.

I have meds from a surgery back in December after 6 months (Percocet) are you legally allowed to still take it or is the prescription invalid?
