Can a doctor prescribe Clonidine if the doctor is located in a different state than the patient lives in? (example: patient lives in Arkansas, doctor is located in Mississippi.)
istiner - That is a good question, and one that I have wondered before in the past. Few questions: Have you just recently moved and haven't found a new doctor where you live now? Are you on vacation and have run out of your medication? Need a bit more information to go on. If you have moved, ask your doctor in Mississippi for a good referral for you in Arkansas. If you are out of medication you will need to see someone soon, so I would give him a call. Can you give more details? Good luck. We are here to help with support of any kind. - Jillynnie
I know my Dr called in a presciption for clonidine a couple of months ago to a pharmacy in Florida and I and he lives in another state. They had me in their data base, and filled with no problem. I was in Florida on business was a dire need for something.
I hope it works the same for you.
