we changed meddistribution from one company to another and are receiving a differantkind of ambian. Itdoesnt seem to work with my husband as the first one did.
I have not experienced this with ambien but I have taken a drug for chronic pain Dilaudid, 3 different ones didn't have the same effect as the 4th manufacture did, my doctor says what ever that is used as a filler may agree with one person and yet not work as well with another, I had to keep a record of the company that worked (and so did CVS) so that they could keep the brand that worked in stock. I am no longer on Dilaudid but have found the same/similar problem with (hydrocodone) I think the basic drug must meet the standards of quality but every manufacture uses inert ingrdients which do not always agree with each individual. I wonder if this is not a more common problem than we think it seems to be happening and also we hear about it and discuss the problem. I hope you can keep track of what works best and that you can easily obtain this from your pharmacist, good luck!
