Can a counsler make you quit taking your medication?

no, a counselor cannot make you quit taking your medications. They may say that it's not good, but they are not medical doctors, and any counselor who makes such a broad statement sounds look a not so good counselor pressing their own personal views on you, vs. helping you and your situation. My psychologist doesn't believe in taking meds, but she also respects those who do, and she sees it as a personal choice. If it is a school counselor, they can't make you stop taking your meds, but may have some sort of protocol such as, during school hours, all scheduled medications must be dispensed by a school nurse, or something like that.
