how do you know the difference between a stress headache, a migraine, and a tension?
Tension and stress go together. Those pains start in the back of your neck and shoulders and go up around both sides of your head and it feels like your head is in a vise. I've gotten these all my life. They can be eased by neck exercises and ice to your neck. Migraines tend to be on one side of your head, you may have an aura before they start, and it feels like the worst pain you've ever had. You can also be nauseated with it. Often they are eased somewhat (not allot) by lying down in total darkness.
