Tanga; Don't quite understand your question, Normally they put you on this type of medication which this is been one of the safer ones to lower the platelet counts and they well check you blood from time to time but you are taking this to avoid any blood clots. Sometimes use for other things but they use your other counts to figure out the dose. Make sure you continue to take as directed and you should have no problems and also get your lab test done when required. here are a copy and paste from drug.com on other info on Plavix.(Plavix (clopidogrel) helps to prevent platelets in your blood from sticking together and forming a blood clot. Unwanted blood clots can occur with certain heart or blood vessel conditions.

Plavix is used to prevent blood clots after a recent heart attack or stroke, and in people with certain disorders of the heart or blood vessels. Good luck any questions check with your Pharmacist. this is the normal use. Chuck1957
