I recently switched to the "Pen" and have been getting a skin reaction (hives, itch, not at local site. Is the medicine exactly the same?

It doesn't happen all the time but sometimes the medicine oozes out after an injection. I also manage to bleed sometimes after the shot.

The medicine doesn't want to come out some times and I have to use a new needle, which I end up running out.
