You have hit upon the most difficult part of this process. I've been taking it for about 4 months now. At first it was very complicated but don't give up! It gets easier. I used the little booklet for the first 4 injections. The most important part of the whole thing is the shaking the blend together. Do it a little longer. If you have a problem with the needle, they give you a spare. It does take a little time but well worth the trouble.
