Hello MistyP24. Not certain why you might fear Buspirone. Its an older drug, and fairly successful in its use. Two more common side effects are nausea and headaches. ( Both disappear shortly after beginning the drug) It will take close to a months time for the drug to work. Best of luck, pledge
I know buspar didn't work for me but I'm hypersensitive to things that change stuff in your brain. I had headaches. It worked well for my boyfriend and when he stopped taking it for a day his eyes twitched. It's way better than taking a benzo but honestly it depends what your stress is about. I noticed they start you on that first they did that with anyone I know.
