Generic Name: omeprazole
Pill imprint P has been identified as Prilosec otc Omeprazole 20mg.
Prilosec is used in the treatment of gerd; stomach ulcer; indigestion; erosive esophagitis; helicobacter pylori infection (and more), and belongs to the drug class proton pump inhibitors. Risk cannot be ruled out during pregnancy.
Prilosec Omeprazole 20mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
