... helps, sometimes not. Most of the time my mouth is on fire. I am fearful of going off the Clonazepam because of the effects it can cause. I have had BMS for 31 years now. I am thinking about the Amitryptalene... Jen
I've been on clonazepam for a few years, but none of my doctors have ever heard of this. First Rx was gabapentin 600 bid, but I heard Lyrica was a more powerful drug. Meanwhile I was diagnosed with foot neuropathy. I thought I had athlete's foot for 3 years!, I digress.
What really acerbated the mouth pain was odors e.g. scent of hair spray, men's underarm deodorant (Axe, etc.) many perfumes, yet patchouli & florals had no negative effects.
For me it's a part of being HIV/AIDS.
Jen, do scents bother you? Really only smoking a lot & perfumes cause it for me.
