I started this 1 time a day on May 10, then started 2 times a day on May 17, 2017. The side effects were horrible and have just now stopped as my body is now accustom to the medication. I stopped smoking on May 20th. I still have a desire to light up at times. So I think I just answered my own question. I shouldn't stop taking the medication until I no longer feel that desire. Or will I always feel that desire and will have to quench it for the rest of my life?
Keep taking the bupropion as normal, if you relapse and have a cigarette you will probably notice the ciggy is not that rewarding anymore. The trick is to then resume not smoking sooner rather than later and not be harsh on yourself for slipping back, rather learn from it to avoid the situation again.. Best to check in with your Dr before stopping taking it... Good luck from an ex-smoker here!
Honestly I don't have an answer I just started taking this and it's not good for me at all mood swings are bad and it's not doing anything for my depression or smoking I'm seriously not taking this anymore.. I'm going on my second mo.taking this medication don't like not myself I'm worst I think
