Just started the above well added the Paxil a week after bupropion... I already feel a bit better 2 days in but worried as thought your supposed to feel worse before better? I'm hoping this is the right combo for me and it just gets better... any advice to put my mind at rest would be helpful
I wish we could put others minds at rest. No one knows how you will react to your resent medication change, everyone has different chemistry. The hope is that you will get better.
Not sure why you were prescribed both? Was the Bupropion not working? Usually it takes 2-4 weeks for the Bupropion to start to work. Maybe it was not enought time to see if it was going to be effective without adding the Paxil?
Hope it all works out for you.
Paxil is very hard to get used to. It could take up to 2 months. It's a good thing u also have the anxiety med that helps alot. I'm sure by now you should be good. Myself I have been on it 20 yrs. It's not working for me anymore. I don't wanna do the taper thing. I'm petrified but. Through research I have decided on a switch with my doctor to another ssri. Similar dose but Lexapro instead. I would like to know how you did on the paxil.
Fluoxetine (Prozac) is working best for me been on 20mg for approx 6 weeks and feel really good.. remember everyone is different took me so long to find what works... I've know introduced yoga and mediation into the mix which I highly recommend for anyone who suffers with mental health
