I have bullus pempoigoid. I have taken mexotrate, but left me so weak and nauseated. i was just wondering if anyone else has taken this medicine and has the same results. Is there any alternative medicines i could possibly take?
It would be better if this question is answered by a specialist/dermatologist, however could find some info on the net:
Bullous pemphigoid: Treatments include Class I topical steroids (clobetasol, halobetasol, etc.) which in some studies have proven to be equally as effective as systemic, or pill, therapy and somewhat safer. However, in difficult to manage or widespread cases, systemic prednisone and powerful steroid-free immunosuppressant medications such as methotrexate, azathioprine or mycophenolate mofetil may be appropriate.
Strongly recommend to seek professional, accurate medical advice, hope the info helps?
