I had the implant (Nexplanon) birth control inserted in my left arm 8 months ago. About 2 weeks after it was inserted I started to discharged black/brown blood. At all times. I no longer have a period, it has just been constant black/brown discharge for 8 months. There is no pattern it has not stopped. Although sometimes it’s heavier than other times. I have not had a period since It was inserted. I’m not sure whether to call it discharge or blood because it can be thin sometimes and leak through multiple layers, but it is very dark.
Your hormones are out of balance. This is common after using artificial hormones. The experience is different for everyone, & some people, like you & I, struggle to find our normal hormonal balance.
Some people find that by adding in a different artificial hormone, say, they contraceptive pill, or injection or other, can counteract the imbalance from the last drug they used. Sometimes you can get lucky, & force the body to behave in a different way, through such drugs. I say lucky, but it depends on how much you choose to put into your body. Not everyone wants to force it.
A lot of things can cause imbalances in the body, rather than just artificial hormones. Things like medications & other artificial influences can cause liver congestion, & that governs your hormonal balance. If your liver cannot filter itself properly, then imbalances can occur. You might want to research this for yourself, rather than just take my word for it.
Of course, what I'm telling you here is not what you'd hear from a mainstream doctor. Perhaps a few of them might, but not many. This is something I had to learn on my own, when researching alternate health approaches. I have had a difficult time with health & doctors. It makes you look elsewhere.
Anyway, you're free to take from my experience, or follow the mainstream route. I just wanted to share what worked for me.
I can't give the name of what worked for me, because it is not a drug, & drugs are what this site is about. I'll give you the alternate names, as it goes by many, & you'll be able to search for its other names, yourself.
I use chastetree berry drops. It works to rebalance your hormones. You can't use it if you're using artificial hormonal contraception, because it'd be pointless, they'd work against each other. You could become pregnant, because your hormonal birth control would be less effective, & you can't rebalance your hormones, whilst you're still putting artificial ones into your body, anyway.
Artificial hormonal birth control, works by stopping your body from functioning in the way it was supposed to, in order to stop you becoming pregnant. The chaste tree berry works to get them back to where they should be.
You can try more hormonal contraception, if you feel that's better for you, at this time.
