My husband has been on keppra for years & it was very expensive but it's been generic for awhile now (have him make sure the MD & pharmacy know he wants generic- I don't know any reason they wouldn't) & he has no insurance. He goes to Costco because it's always the cheapest (or another chain of the huge stores like Sam's club would probably too) & his monthly rx is around $30. Its a great med because he doesn't have to bloodeork all the time like other meds do because they can be really hard on the liver or is it the kidneys? Can't remember. So he does bloodwork 1/year vs monthly. Hope this helps!
