I've been having trouble with anxiety attacks lately I've been noticing not breathing at all. It's really weird and freaky. Does anyone know what to do?
Toobar, Yes Breath!!! now I am not trying to be a smart-ass But I did this too and only made the panic or anxiety attacks worse. Are you taking any medication to help with your anxiety?, If This continues there are many things your doctor can help you with. This is a very common problem with anxiety. But it only makes it worse, What a class I took taught me to do is when you find yourself doing this. Try to breathe very deep inhale slowly until you can feel your stomach pushing out, And exhale the same way, Make sure you do this slow not fast and rapid. This startling effect that you are doing is a response from the anxiety. And by doing these type breathing exercise's it also helps calm you down. Hope this helps some but if it continues please see your doctor. Your not alone in this battle of anxiety.
