Breastfeeding - Anyone know of a supplement to increase the fat in breastmilk?

Hi. Looks like no answers for you. Assuming that you have a healthy diet, you produce exactly what your body does. Be sure you are not on a trendy diet like extra low fat and the like.

The milk is produced by your genetic code. As long as you eat a very well balanced meal and get plenty of water the baby will be fine. Do not start taking supplements as many of them transfer through the breast milk and harm the child. Always check with the doctor before you try something new.

In dairy cows they breed for high fat producers. We don't. Lol. Your body gives the little one exactly what is needed. Hope your baby is doing well.
