option due to where it is located, as more damage will be caused getting to it. I also have other multiple major medical problems. My doctors have me on Xanax to help with the anxiety these problems cause. I think the Xanax helps some, but, just can't shake this feeling of dread. I have accepted my many problems & have my house in order. Just looking for some way to find some happiness in this probable last year I have.
So sorry to hear of your health problems. I really recommend some counseling. Not sure where you live as to what maybe availabl, but for example my therapist specializes in this area. Being able to process your feelings on a regular basis would be most helpful to keeping your spirits up. I might also recommend a spiritual counselor such as from a church depending on what your beliefs are. You are welcome to visit with us here for support as well.
Hello. I too have a limiting illness. Though I am beating the odds, death could come anytime. There are times where a very simple event can trigger panic. Depression is part of this, of course. I take Xanax and an antidepressant. At least they don't worry about getting hooked on the stuff. I am so sorry that you face this ending. In a way, though, we are very lucky. We put our house in order, share with those who still hang around. But the days are very lonely and each new problem with ones health can seem overwhelming.
I gave up the why me. Now I tell the doctors, "of course this such and such is rare. It is the only thing I get." We can laugh now. My doctors are caring, loving people not just prescribers of tests and pills. One never knows where a friend will come from. I do get exhausted nowadays and may skip a day or two. I am here and we can talk privately, should you choose.
I found that this site has been a very good outlet for me. Even though I now type with one finger, it is worth sharing and writing and helping others.,in return I feel helped by them. A kind word here and there does wonders for someone struggling. Looking forward to getting to know you. Wishing you happiness from the smallest to the greatest and that you are loved by many. Blessings to you. Karen
