I have been on nebilet for almost three months and my bp has dropped to 116/69. An echo showed my heart was a bit enlarged, but bp has not gone beyond 134/90 in the past three months, do I still need to be on medication?
Of course you do, why do you think your bp is coming down? When your heart is enlarged its very important, because the heart is a muscle and when you exercise muscles they get bigger. When your blood pressure is up, the heart has to beat harder to push the blood through your body, and that is exercise for your heart. Never take yourself off blood pressure meds. You need to talk to your dr.
