He is angry from when he wakes till he goes to sleep. Zoloft isn't working. Help please before i go insane or end up worse.
Land; You should have him talk to the doctor, You did not say what dose or how long he has been taking the medication. But normally for Zoloft it can start to work after about 3 to 4 weeks you should see some changes but it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get into the full blood level. If he has not gotten there yet the doctor may be able to give him something while the Zoloft is reaching its blood level. Now it is very important the he take it about the same time each day don't miss any days or you can get withdrawals from it and they are no fun. And make sure he gets it refilled when it gets down to about 4 or 5 days of pills left you don't want to put up with the side effects of coming off of it fast. Also if he has been on it already for this long or longer you guys need to talk to the doctor and get the dose adjusted or maybe something added to it to make it work better. Hope that helps you some.feel free to ask any other questions if you need to. Someone well get back to you as soon as they can. Chuck1957
