I had my first depo injection 4 days ago. 4 hours after my depo injection, me and my boyfriend had sex, he came in me and I'm worried in case I am pregnant, please help me.
If you got your first Depo Provera shot this time, & it was during the first 5 days of your period, then you were covered immediately against pregnancy.
If you got it outside of that time, then you were not covered against pregnancy, & will need to use emergency contraception.
At this late stage. your options are limited to prevent pregnancy. You can either have an IUD/Coil fitted (you'll need to make an appointment with your doctor/clinic), or you can use the pill called Ulipristal Acetate (NOT Plan B/Levonorgestrel. It's too late for that to help).
You have 5 days in total to use either of those methods of emergency contraception, which means that you need to get one of those measures, today.
If you don't use emergency contraception, & end up pregnant, then you need to speak to your doctor immediately, because there is mixed medical opinion as to whether or not Depo Provera harms a pregnancy/baby.
