This is my 2nd time taking phendimetrazine. The first time was a few years ago. This time around I was prescribed the 105mg extended release capsules. The last time a few years ago, I was prescribed the 35mg 3x/day tablets. So long story short, I was switched from phentermine (which I took for 28 days) this past Friday due to severe headaches, nausea, vomiting and fatigue. The bariatric doctor thought it be better for me on PhenD as I had done so well on it in the past losing 40lb then. I took my first phenD ER yesterday and I noticed NO appetite suppression. As a matter of fact, I felt more hungry than ever since I had no nausea and food wasn't appalling due to smell like it had been when I was on phentermine. I'm worried this may not work! The 1st time i ever took it, it knocked my appetite to nothing and I had to remind myself to eat. This time it isn't doing that. I am physically feeling hunger. The first time on the program, I was taught how to figure out if I was really hungry or if it was really thirst or some kind of emotional/bored eating. So yesterday, I had the feeling of stomach pain, emptiness, and growling. Aren't I supposed to have appetite suppression? Or am I still supposed to feel hungry but have faster satiety? How long before I start feeling like I am not hungry and can actually focus on the lifestyle eating habits change of this program?
