I don't typically get seasick, but seas may be rough tomorrow.
You really need to take it the day of. Motion sickness meds are essentially sedatives so if they were that long-acting it would not be a good thing. Just remember it will probably put you to sleep for several hours if you've not taken it before and don't take it on a completely empty stomach. I know you'll want to avoid food but you really should have a little bit so the drug doesn't cause too big a shift in your stomach's ph. If you don't typically get seasick you might just want to avoid it. That's a strong medication.
