Do I need to take a blood thinner for A-Fib and taking verapamil?

Atrial fibrillation is known to cause stasis of blood in the Atria. Hence the best prophylaxis therapy against throwing a clot to your brain is to begin a blood thinning agent. Although this community is not here to supplemental Physicians advise it is advisable if you have AFib to do the best you can to prevent a clot to your brain so choose which decision you would like to follow and stick with it. Blood clots are a serious thing and can be paralyzing and life-threatening and it is well known that atrial fibrillation can cause blood clots in the Atria allowing them to escape and causing a cerebrovascular infarct. Please discuss with your doctor
