Im a 21 year old female. I've notice blood and mucus in my stool since Saturday. Also, I've been constipated for 2 weeks and have had upper left abdominal pain occasionally. When I do pass stool, the stool is soft. Today I almost passed out while driving and I've been dizzy since then. I drink almost a gallon of water everyday so I know I'm not dehydrated. I went to the doctors on Monday and they just gave me a fiber supplement. The doctor also did a rectal exam and told me I didn't have hemorrhoids or bleeding.
Eloeli; From what you and the doctor have said and good for you for getting in so fast the fiber helps the stool pass much easier and that should eliminate any bleeding but the other parts you talked about with the dizzy and such sounds like you are just upset and worrying too much about this and now that you know that your okay You should take the fiber and try to be easy on yourself pay attention to your self when you have any problems and I will bet you are breathing very fast and causing yourself that stress which can make you feel like your going to pass out so please try to be ready to pull over if it happens again. good luck.
