many times and still get bit when wearing the clothes. I see tiny black things, even with clean sheets. Its been going on almost 2 months, ive been to the doctor twice, and all they want to do is treat the open wounds, where ive been scrathing. Now my 5 yrs old daughter is being bit. Also she was complaining of itching behind her ear, i got the magnifing glass and pulled out a... larva, is all that come to mind. Does ANYONE have a clue as to what we got. Ive also noticed that "whatever" they are: they are on EVERYTHING we touch, like transferred. Nope i do not do drugs
Was the larva like thing attached to her hair? Lice will lay eggs (nits) on the hair shaft and they look like a little rice shaped object, often about the same color as the hair, that will be stuck to the hair shaft. It is common to find them in the nape of the neck and behind the ears. Usually adult lice are hard to see with a naked eye. Take a look at the heads of everyone in the family. If you find these nits attached to the hair shaft just a bit down from the scalp then it is likely to be lice. Fleas and bedbugs come to mind as well as scabies if it is not lice. The whole family will need to be treated. You will need to wash all bedding in hot water and vacuum the mattresses (and toss the bag immediately into the outside trash), and carpets. Wash any rugs in hot water. Get rid of stuffed animals or put them inside a tightly closed plastic bag for a month unless you are able to wash them in hot water-it may ruin them. Pillows will need to be replaced or washed in hot water too.
If it is fleas, you will need to treat any animals you have and you may need to call in an exterminator.
my children had lice growing up in school tons of people got then, for they get passed on easily if someone is using the other's hat, brust etc... so I don't think it's lice... they r also easier to find on a child that has dark hair for u r able to see them better, i remember my youngest girl use to keep getting sent home for i couldn't treat her as well as the oldest for she had blonde hair so they where hard to see on her head... i both i think it was called rid, it kills the eggs and the lice in a single dose, but still don't think in my opinion it's that!!! Do u have animals? It sounds to me almost like fleas, and yes, u would need an exterminator asap for them for it only gets worse... I never seen bed bugs and don't want to, but u r saying u r seeing them in your bed... you need to get ahold of a prof. and have them come look and find out exactly what it is, we can tell u all day it can be this and it can be that, but the longer u wait to find someone who specializes in these things the problem is only going to get worse... I would like I said in my opinion call a exterminator, in fact call several for alot of them as one person mentioned does do a free evaluation and let u no what it is, and if they can take care of it and so on... if I were u I would get on this a.s.a.p... good luck... and keep us posted..
