Okay, so I started my period on April 17th. I started my birthcontrol for the first time on April 19th, I did the Sunday start method. My period ended April 22nd. I started my 3rd week of pills yesterday, May 3rd, and have this week ahead of me. The problem is, my placebo pills start next week, but I am only scheduled to get my period on May 15th. I know this is a lot to follow, but what I am basically asking is, what happens when I am to start the placebo pills, but am not scheduled for my period yet? Meaning, I'll take the placebo pills but not get my period. Did I start my birth control wrong? Am I protected as I have had unprotected sex. So confused.
I don't understand. If you have this week of active pills yet then start your placebo the following week, The following week is the week with the 15th in it. It makes no difference when during that week you get your period. You can stop with the apps that give you the dates for your period and ovulation. You will have your period during the placebo week and you don't ovulate. That's the major way birth control pills work.
